Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to support K-12 students within a public school setting located in Westover, MD. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by providing therapeutic services to enhance student participation and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Provide direct services primarily within an elementary school environment
- Maintain compliance with all relevant policies and regulations
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist licensure
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload focused on elementary school students
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
